2025 FALL SHOWCASE CAMP

We would like to invite you to showcase your skills in front of the Division I coaching staff of Samford University, as well as a large number of other college and Junior College coaches while receiving instruction. There is so much change going on in the evolving world of college athletics and baseball roster limitation it is more important now than ever to get as many good looks as possible at each athlete.  Each participant will field, hit, and throw in front of coaches in a pro style Showcase format. Pitchers will throw bullpens to the catchers in attendance.

LOCATION: Joe Lee Griffin Field and Indoor Facility on the campus of Samford University

POSITION PLAYERS | INCLUDES PITCHERS WHO HIT: The Showcase will start just before or at 10:00 AM with the brief checkin process starting at 9:15 AM. Each player will work out defensively on the field and take batting practice on the field and in the cages. We will utilize Trackman Technology in the evaluation process to measure exit velocity and distance traveled. Catchers will be evaluated defensively in both sessions - throwing during the position players and receiving and blocking during the pitchers portion. At the conclusion of the Position Player workout the Pitchers and Catchers will begin in the bullpen.

PITCHER EVALUATIONS: Check in for Pitcher Only players will start at 10:30 AM at the field. Catchers will hit and throw during the Position Player workout and catch/receive the pitchers during the Pitching workout. Pitchers in attendance during the Position Player workout will throw their bullpens. Pitcher ONLY players will receive instruction during the Position Player workout and then get ready to throw bullpens.

REFUNDS / CANCELLATIONS: There are no Refunds offered for any reason. Cancellations 72 hours in advanced will be able to apply the money to a future camp / showcase.
