Our 1 Day Team Camp format was a huge success last summer and is designed help with high school team’s summer scheduling and to make more affordable for individual players and/or teams. It will include two full games along with detailed team instruction on hitting, base running, strength training, recruiting process, situational hitting, increasing power for individual hitters as well as focusing on a variety of team offensive & defensive aspects of the game.  All four camps filled up early last year with large waiting list for each session.

Camp Format The one day camps will allow each team to take advantage of the Division I level instruction as an entire team while also playing two games, limiting the time commitment, and lessoning the cost for each player or program. The format will help with players pulled to summer programs and other sports. Year one for this new format was a big success.

Schedule  The Camp will begin at 9:00 and end at or before 7:00.  The games will be played earlier in the day followed by defensive and hitting sessions. The schedule will include team defense, hitting lecture, cage sessions, Video Hitting Analysis, hitting for power drills and defense by position.  The entire Samford Staff will be handling instruction. And also a Strength & Conditioning session by Samford Strength Coach.

Costs $100 per player. DEPOSIT is $200 per team to guarantee a spot. Includes Lunch and Samford T-Shirt. Minimum of 14 players.

Facilities The entire camp including all meals will take place on the Samford Campus, Indoor Hitting facility, Video room, and Homewood High School located directly across the street.
